3D Active Shutter Glasses | Cypress Semiconductor
3D active shutter glasses are used to view 3D images on TVs, displays, and projectors. 3D glasses require a precision analog front end (AFE) for signal gain, noise filtering, and automatic gain control. They use liquid crystal shutters requiring voltages from 10V-20V source depending on manufacturer. The glasses will be run with either a coin cell or rechargeable batteries. USB interface to the glasses can be used for recharging and as a communication interface. Mechanical or CapSense switches can be implemented as the user interface.
