  Description  
 


The USB-UART cable is a USB to serial converter cable which provides connectivity between USB and serial UART interfaces. This cable features integrated electronic assemblies featuring Cypress IC (CY7C64225-28PVXC) providing simple easy-to-use connectivity for many USB conversion applications. The cables are available offering connectivity at 5V, 3.3V All cables feature a Cypress CY7C64225 device integrated within the cable USB type ‘A’ connector, which provide access to UART Transmit (Tx), Receive (Rx), RTS#, CTS#, VCC and GND connections. All cables are fully RoHS compliant and are FCC/CE approved.

All cables are 1 m in length.

Cypress's USB to UART Bridge Controller (CY7C64225) is a fully integrated controller with internal voltage regulator and oscillator. The chip enables design of the board with minimal number of components.In addition, the cypress solution requires no software or firmware development and includes royalty free Virtual COM port (VCP) driver support.
