The latest addition to the CapSense Express portfolio – the ultra low power CY8CMBR2110 which supports up to 10 capacitive touch sensing channels that enable 10 buttons /10 LEDs. This solution is register configured, supports direct LED drive and LED effects at Power-on and during run time. The CY8CMBR2110 device is enabled with Cypress’s revolutionary SmartSense™ auto-tuning algorithm eliminating the need for system tuning. This advancement in solution simplicity enables designers to include a capacitive sensing UI without risk to the end product development schedule. Essentially the UI design task has been reduced to the PCB layout of the sensor board and the EZ-Click™ Customizer tool – the CapSense Express controller handles rest.
