Introduction
PSoC 1, PSoC 3, and PSoC 5LP are all true programmable embedded system-on-chips that integrate configurable analog, programmable digital, memory, and a central processor on a single chip.
PSoC contains a processor, but it is not an MCU. The name PSoC (Programmable-System-on-Chip) defines its true identity. AN54181 introduces the Programmable-System-on-Chip concept with specific emphasis on PSoC 3. Here, you learn about PSoC 3 and what it can do for you and your projects.
