I spent the day at Xfest in Melbourne, Florida. First I have to say I really like the engineers that use FPGAs. They may not have had any exposure to PSoC but they immediately get programmable systems and the also don’t seem to mind paying a lot of money for a single chip solution. These are my kind of people.
I took the scenic road back way to Orlando. I passed a place called “Lone Cabbage Fish Camp and Restaurant” in Coca Florida. With a name like that there is no way I can resist stopping. If I had got there a half earlier I could have taken a ride on one of those fan-powered swamp boats. Damn! Still I was able to get the catfish, gator, and frog leg special. It included hush puppies and fries in case you did not get your fill on deep fry. Top that with a beer and I am in carbohydrate heaven.
