This application note describes a PSoC(R)-based Wind Noise Simulator that may be used as a theatrical accessory in performances and shows. It is an original musical instrument with touch sensitive control. Sliding a finger up and down can control the pitch of produced sound (that is, the "wind rate"). The pitch range is more than 3.5 octaves.
