The objective of this Application Note is to implement a PSoC (8-pin DIP) device suitable for sensing and controlling analog events from 0 to 5 volts, which is a common requirement of laboratory and industrial automated systems. This application was built with the CY8C27143 and uses the ADCINC12 (a 12-bit ADC) User Module, a PWM16 User Module with an external RC filter to get a 16-bit DAC, a PGA User Module for the preamplifier function, and a UART digital communication user module for serial communication between the PC and RS232.
