| AN2283 discusses methods to measure frequency using PSoC® 1. |
Many applications require measuring a frequency. Several methods exist to do this, each having particular advantages. A brief review of these two methods is discussed and a hybrid method is introduced. A sample project is presented enabling measurement of frequencies with a typical error of 0.0016% (16 ppm).
