Functional Overview

The inaugural product in the West Bridge family is the Antioch(TM) Controller. Antioch is a device designed specifically to enable handsets to provide a direct path from a PC to Handset Mass Storage using Hi-Speed USB. This frees up Baseband/Applications Processor resources by limiting involvement in these high-density transfers and improving sideloading performance (PC to Handset transfer by USB). Additionally, Antioch uses the SLIM(TM) architecture to create multiple usage models such as using the handset as a modem, downloading multimedia files and playing music all at the same time. Antioch comes in small footprint, 6x6mm VFBGA (CYWB0124AB) and 4x4mm WL-CSP (CYWB0124ABX).
