Hassane El-Khoury is executive vice president of the Programmable Systems Division at Cypress. He manages the Platform PSoC family of devices including PSoC 1, PSoC 3 and PSoC 5 and Cypress's automotive businesses. He is responsible for growing the PSoC franchise managing the product development of silicon, software and systems.
El-Khoury previously ran Cypress's automotive business unit, spearheading the company's expansion into the Human-Machine Interface and Body Electronics segments of the automotive marketplace, and maintaining the company's leadership in automotive memory products.
Prior to joining Cypress, El-Khoury worked as an engineer at subsystem supplier Continental Automotive Systems, where he spent time based in the U.S., Germany and Japan.
El-Khoury holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan and a master's degree in engineering management from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
