Configure the HOTLink 1 for 3.3V I/O?

Is there a way to configure the HOTLink 1 for 3.3V I/O?

Cypress does provide a family of PHY's (HOTLink II) that operate with 3.3V I/O's, however the HOTLink 1 family are all 5V parts and cannot be operated at 3.3V. For more information on using the HOTLink II family of parts in your application, please visit our website.
