To further extend the flexibility and programmability of Cypress's wireless portfolio, PRoC™ - Programmable Radio-system on-a Chip - integrates a flexible 8-bit microcontroller with the 2.4GHz radio transceiver in a single chip solution. PRoC solutions offer a unique capability of component integration to enable extremely small form factor designs for low-power wireless systems.

PRoC-UI
PRoC-UI (Programmable Radio-on-Chip – User Interface) is Cypress' new integrated touch + wireless, System-on-Chip (SoC). It combines the low-power 2.4-GHz proprietary WirelessUSB™-NL Radio-on-a-Chip with Cypress's CapSense® and TrueTouch® capacitive touch technologies. PRoC-UI enables user interface functionality in wireless devices, including gestures that are compatible with Windows 8™.


WirelessUSB™ NL
WirelessUSB™ NL (CYRF8935) is a third-generation 2.4 GHz low-power RF technology from Cypress's WirelessUSB family.  Combined with Cypress's enCoRe™ family of USB and wireless microcontrollers, WirelessUSB™ NL provides the lowest total solution BOM, low power and best-in-class wireless performance for up to 30 m range.

WirelessUSB™ LP
The WirelessUSB LP (CYRF6936) is the second-generation 2.4 GHz RF technology from Cypress’s WirelessUSB family.  It offers unmatched robustness through DSSS modulation and up to 100 m connection range with up to 1 Mbps data rate.

WirelessUSB™ LP Star
The WirelessUSB LP Star (CYRF6986) is the second-generation 2.4 GHz RF technology from Cypress’s WirelessUSB family.  It offers unmatched robustness and up to 50 m connection range with up to 1 Mbps data rate.

PRoC LP
PRoC LP (CYRF69103, CYRF69213) is a radio System-on-Chip (SoC) device providing a complete RF system solution with a single device and a few discrete components.  The solution is intended to drastically reduce the time to market and the Bill-of-Materials (BOM) cost of wireless designs while providing excellent robustness and up to 100 m connection range with up to 1 Mbps data rate.
