BEA Systems' Liquid Portal Award, 2006
The Cypress Web Team is this year's winner of the BEA Systems' Liquid Portal Award. The team was selected for its work on developing and deploying Cypress's collaborative portal that connects IT systems and business processes and for the major redesign of the Design Resources community (www.cypress.com/go/documentation). From this community, customers can download software, datasheets, application notes, and more, and register for updates and other information.
Business Ethics Magazine, 2005
Business Ethics Magazine recognized Cypress as one of the "100 Best Corporate Citizens" for 2005. Cypress ranked 38th among the nation's 100 elite companies for its achievement in serving the needs of its stakeholders. Rankings are based on quantitative measures of corporate service to key stakeholders including customers, shareholders, the community and environmental groups.
Automotive Engineering International Magazine, 2005
Automotive Engineering International magazine recognized Cypress's ACM 100-1 automotive camera module as the "Top Product of the Year" for 2005 in the digital imaging category. The ACM100-1 camera consists of an image sensor, an image processor, lens, durable casing and cable assembly for automotive applications such as night vision, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot detection, lane departure warning systems, collision mitigation, driver drowsiness monitoring and pedestrian detection.
EDN Magazine, 2005
Cypress's Programmable Radio-on-a-Chip™ (PRoC™) device and enCoRe™ II family of USB microcontrollers were honored by EDN magazine as two of its "100 Hot Products" for 2005. PRoC combines Cypress's WirelessUSB™ 2.4-GHz radio-on-a-chip with the company's PSoC™ (Programmable System-on-Chip), all in a single, integrated product. The enCoRe II (enhanced component reduction) family of low-speed USB microcontrollers offers a flash-based design that enables storage of wireless binding parameters as well as in-system reprogrammability.

Cypress's Programmable Radio-on-a-Chip™ (PRoC™) product was honored with the "Innovation of the Year Award" for 2005 by EDN China, one of the leading global electronics magazines in China. PRoC combines Cypress's WirelessUSB™ 2.4-GHz radio-on-a-chip with the company's PSoC™ (Programmable System-on-Chip), all in a single, integrated product. EDN China selected PRoC from a field of products in the Digital IC & Programmable Device category.

Electronic Engineering & Product World (EEPW), one of the leading electronics magazines in China, named Cypress's Programmable Radio-on-a-Chip™ (PRoC™) chip "Best New Embedded System Technology" for 2005. PRoC combines Cypress's WirelessUSB™ 2.4-GHz radio-on-a-chip with the company's PSoC™ (Programmable System-on-Chip), all in a single, integrated product. The award was announced at EEPW's 2005 Embedded Conference and Product Show in Shenzhen.

Cypress received Spirent's Supplier Recognition Award for 2004. This award recognizes Cypress's outstanding performance and willingness to go above and beyond to support Spirent.
Electronic Products Magazine, 2003
Electronic Products, a weekly semiconductor product magazine, awarded its 2003 "Products of the Year" award to Cypress's WirelessUSB LS 2.4-GHz radio-system-on-a-chip device. The "Products of the Year" award is given to a handful of companies to recognize products for their innovative approach to solving key problems while minimizing end-user costs.

Electronique, a leading electronics monthly French magazine, awarded Cypress the "Electron d'Or 2003 Award" for WirelessUSB™ in the networking and telecom chipset category. This award recognizes the efforts made by Cypress to propose innovative technologies and products. The awards program is in its seventh year and recognizes products in 10 award categories.

Cypress received the "Synergy Best-in-Class Avent Cilicon Supplier Award" in 2002 from Avnet Cilicon America's semiconductor division. This award exemplifies the close working relationship between Avnet and its suppliers, which the company considers to be a requirement in today's global economy.
Celestica, 2002
Celestica awarded Cypress a "Global Partner in Performance Award" for six consecutive years in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002. This award recognizes suppliers based on their ability to support Celestica's supply chain management objectives in the following areas: flexibility and responsiveness, impact on asset management, effectiveness and efficiency, and overall supplier performance.

For two consecutive years, Cypress won an "EDN Innovation Award." In 2001, Cypress was awarded the "EDN Innovation Award" in the microprocessor category for it Programmable System-on-Chip™ (PSoC™) product. In 2002, Cypress was awarded the "EDN Innovation Award" in Communications for its WirelessUSB™, Cypress's first wireless product that uses a proprietary 2.4-GHz technology.

Cypress received a "STAR Preferred Supplier Award" in 2002 designed to recognize supplier excellence. The STAR award is presented to companies that meet rigorous product quality and delivery objectives over the course of a year. With this award, Cypress joins a select group of seven suppliers to win the award over the past two years (2001 and 2002).
Solectron, 2002
Solectron awarded Cypress a "Crystal Supplier Award" in 1998. In 2002, Cypress received the Solectron "Strategic Partnership Award." These awards recognize Cypress's efforts to provide Solectron with a competitive advantage through its continued performance in supplier excellence.
Sony, 2002
In 2002, Sony shipped its 30 millionth PlayStation® 2 with Cypress clocks in the system-a significant milestone for both companies. Sony awarded a plaque to all PlayStation 2 suppliers that helped Sony meet this milestone.
Intel, 2001
Intel Corporation awarded Cypress a number of awards in previous years. In 2000, Cypress was awarded the "Stacked-Chip Scale Package (S-CSP) Engineering and Development Award" recognizing its low-power SRAM development and support for Intel's S-CSP requirements. Also in that year, Cypress was awarded an "Appreciation of Support on New Technology" for its CKDRCG clock chip (CK133). In the first quarter of 2001, Cypress received a "Best in Class Score" award of "96" on Intel's quarterly supplier clock report card. In 2000, Cypress was awarded Intel's "Certified Quality Supplier Award" recognizing its excellence in supporting Intel's demands on a superior level.

Lucent awarded Cypress a number of supplier awards. In 1998, Cypress received a "Partner in Excellence Certificate" and in 1999, received a "Partner in Excellence Certificate" from Lucent's Oklahoma City Global Provisioning Center. Both awards recognize Cypress's outstanding support of Lucent demands. In 1999, Cypress received a "Wizards and Outstanding Wonderworks (WOW) Award" from Lucent Columbus Works. In 2000, Cypress received an "Outstanding Performance Award from Lucent China" recognizing Cypress's ongoing partnership with the Lucent Technologies' Supply Network Solutions, recognizing outstanding commitment to service and quality excellence. In the same year, Cypress received a 2000 "Strategic Alliance" award recognizing it as a strategic supplier in Lucent's supply chain.

Cypress received a number of supplier awards by Nortel Networks. In 1999, Cypress was awarded the "Super Supplier Award" recognizing the company's outstanding achievements as a strategic and preferred supplier. In 2000, Cypress received the "Customer Loyalty Award" recognizing the company's outstanding efforts in customer satisfaction. Also in 2000, Cypress received the "Top Ranked Memory Team Supplier" award recognizing the team's continued excellence to meet Nortel's customer demands.
