Some questions about 8-counter and VDAC

We want to use the 8-bit counter and VDAC to generate a signal whose voltage's value can increase linearly .

When we choose the counter to run under the mode of UDB, how to set its pin named "clock"?

Where is the output data of the counter stored?

And how can the VDAC receive the output data of the counter?

Thanks for ur help! :)

For lower frequencies you can transfer the counter data with the help of the CPU to the VDAC. See the APIs to read counter values.

For higher frequencies you will have to use DMA which is at first a bit difficult but when set up correctly will run without CPU intervention.

In either case the clock input should be connected to a high frequency clock (20MHz) to have the count-input synchronized.

Have a look at the example-projects offered when you right-click on the usermodule.
