I2C slave connection project

I am trying to connect an RTC via the I2C as a slave device. the Master is a PSOC5. I have found an example project called "DelSig_I2C" in the example project.

I was just wondering if this is these are the correct steps to establish the project?

I would suggest EZi2C slave as a fast way of getting link up and

working.

so is this component implements a slave "inside" the PSOC5 chip? or does it assume that a slave is outside and that PSOC5 acts as the master?

The EzI2C acts as a slave within the PSoC and needs a master that controls it.

I forgot you were looking for a Master. There are several in component

explorer, fixed function and UDB based, place one on schematic, right click,

pick "find example project", and add to your workspace. Cut and paste

code and settings into your main workspace, then delete the example

project.

Regards, Dana.
