 Hi all.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a DMA fetching data from an I2C device automatically? :)

Since I2C is totally interrupt driven to submit or retrieve data you may concentrate on transferring the data from the buffers to the required destination. This of course is possible to be done with DMA for instance to a peripheral.

Disabling the interrupts would require a complete different approach to implement I2C than what is supported.
