 hi to all,

In  the design of blood glucose meter , the current from test strip is modified to voltages using TIA , but after that how to calibrate that voltages interms of Glucose concentration?

Not being an expert in this field, but don't the test strip manufacturers

have a datasheet for the sensor characteristics ? Which would lead

you to concentration calculations ?

As dana mentioned, you should get the data form the company making the strip as each company's sensing method would be different.

There are normalized glocose test-liquids to calibrate those equipments.

There are test strips for that purpose, with known concentrations

on them.

Another challenge:

Often the strips are bar-code-marked to have them calibrated (or date-checked). The code is red off and acted on accordingly.

Within my glucose-meter (Accucheck) is a bar-code reader integrated that reads off the barcode from the strip-container which is a small drum containing 17 strips that is inserted into the meter.

If you are looking for calibrating the internal TIA/signal chain, then take a look at this Application Note - AN68403 (http://www.cypress.com/?rID=50320)
