FX3 Devkit SS_RX_P and SS_RX_N signals flipped?

I am designing a board that will employ the CYUSB3014 for USB communication and have just transitioned from Schematic to Layout and I noticed that the signals for the USB 3.0 SS_TX/SS_RX were not lining up like the layout of the devkit.

Upon further research it looks like the receive lines are flipped on the micro-usb connector which leads to a scrambling of P/N on the IC.

I've attached an image of the devkit micro-usb connector up close.

Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the USB 3.0 Specification but I did find the pinouts on both:

http://pinoutsguide.com/PortableDevices/micro_usb_3_connector_pinout.shtml

and on wikipedia's USB page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Serial_Bus#Physical_appearance

Is there some sort of setting within the MCU that will flip this signal internally (swap P for M) ? I'd really hate to route this design with a crossover on the layout.

Dave

It is part of USB3.0 specification, it checks for polarity and changes accordingly. It has been introduced in USB3.0 spec to make the routing of those lines easier.

Go through the hardware design guidelines. It should make things easier
