Hi,

If you want to configure FX2LP slave FIFO interface to 8-bit mode, please make sure that the last bit of EPxFIFOCFG is '0'.

Regards,

sai  krishna.

Is there any other way what make it 8bit ouput to 16bit output?

 Hi,

Why do you want to use 16 bit slave fifo if the data is only 8bits wide? Please clarify if my understanding is incorrect.

Gayathri

Because to use hsync and vsync signal in slavefifo 16bit mode,

Camera have data 8bits and hsync,vsync 2bIts.

slavefifo havenot enough pins to handle hsync vsync signal in 8bit mode.

So, i think 16bit mode will enough to handle hsync, vsync.

Does make any sense?

 Hi,

Why don't you use any of the unused port pins (GPIOs) for HSYNC and VSYNC?

Because this is for simple processing.

when i using together Hsync, Vsync, slavefifo Data,  in 16bit mode. then it will be more simple.

doesnt make it sense?

 Hi,

If you connect HSYNC and VSYNC as data lines, what will be the control lines in your interface? If the slave fifo interface has only data lines, depending on what condition will you latch the data?

Are you looking for a UVC application or are you using any custom driver? Is there header insertion being done to the image sensor data as in case of UVC? Please detail the application.

If it is other way round, as I suggested, with HSYNC can be connected to SLWR signal, and VSYNC connected to any GPIOs, and use 8 bit data. How is it difficult compared to the 16 bit interface? Please clarify.

Regards,

Gayathri
