Hi,

since the new driver release of VIA with the version V3.10C the FX3 won't enumerate correctly. I think it stucks all the time in low power mode U3. Has anybody a solution?

Thanks

lumpi

Hi Sai Krishna,

sorry for that delay... I tried it now again with the actual FX3 SDK 1.2 and the updated patched libraries I got from a technical support case (simple GPIO bug). I have still the same beviour. In the USB trace of a lecroy USB3.0 analyzer the firmware upload works fine through the request 0xA0 but then it stucks and the device is in low power mode U3. The windows device manager shows the yellow exclamation mark and in the properties it tells, that the device can not be started (Code 10).

Regards

Lumpi

Hi Lumpi,

As you know, FX3 works fine with the VIA host controller driver v1.90A.

This is the version that we have tested with internally and this is what we can download from the via-labs website as well. We will test with the latest drivers if there are any.

Please let me know where can I get the 3.10 version of this.

Thanks,

sai krishna.

Hi,

I do not really know because the manufacturer has the driver 1.90 at their homepage. Otherwise who else is updating that driver package?

thanks

Lumpi,

Right. But I need to check with the software team. They might be looking for a official release from the via-labs webpage.

Regards,

sai krishna.

Update from the software team is that,

They will be testing with the next version when it is officially released on the Via-labs webpage.

http://via-labs.com/en/support/downloads.jsp#hostdriver

Please wait till we get the next official version.

Thanks,

sai krishna.
