I need to change the default of 100K to as 1MHz when booting from an EEPROM.  It currently takes 25 to 30 seconds to boot when running at 100K.  How do I change the setting when building the IMG file?

It's a command line option for elf2img.  The -i2cconf option allows you to set the EEPROM configuration byte.
