Detect HighSpeed instead of SuperSpeed

Hi,

I am using a win7 x64 PC with USB 3.0. It recognize the DVK (REV2) as SuperSpeed when I download the "bulk lopp manual In Out" example. However, it does not recognize my custom design board as SuperSpeed (detected as HighSpeed).

What can be the cause?

Thanks,

Nazila

Hi Nazila,

What are the clock select pins FSLC01,2 configured as and what boot option have you selected (PMODE pins). Can you try a shorter USB 3 cable in case its related to layout etc.

USBbulkSourceSink this example , how to modify the program , allows transfer speeds of 300MB / s

In the this example USBbulkSourceSink , I modified the max.no of packets in a the Burst = 2 , then into dmaBukSrcsinkconfig.size = 3072; endPointconfig.burstlen = 3. Program can be lost , but the stream measurement speed when number You can not measure speed, etc. ? How to solve?

Hi,

Do the following things to see the throughput numbers of around 300MBps.

1. Keep only one endpoint. Best thing is to use BULK IN endpoint.

2. #define CY_FX_EP_BURST_LENGTH          (15)     /* Super speed burst length in packets. */

3. Once you change CY_FX_EP_BURST_LENGTH, then it will be updated in the following places:

epCfg.burstLen = CY_FX_EP_BURST_LENGTH;

dmaCfg.size  = (2*1024 * CY_FX_EP_BURST_LENGTH); and

in the descriptors,

 /* Super speed endpoint companion descriptor for consumer EP */

    0x06,                           /* Descriptor size */

    CY_U3P_SS_EP_COMPN_DESCR,       /* SS endpoint companion descriptor type */

    (CY_FX_EP_BURST_LENGTH - 1),    /* Max no. of packets in a burst(0-15) - 0: burst 1 packet at a time */

    0x00,                           /* Max streams for bulk EP = 0 (No streams) */

    0x00,0x00                       /* Service interval for the EP : 0 for bulk */

sai krishna.
