Are there known issues with FX3 engineering silicon?

Hi,

Are there any problems listed about the FX3 engineering silicon parts.  I have built some hardware using FX3 engineering samples (not production) and I wanted to rule out that problems I am seeing are not related to the silicon. For example if I do transfers from several different endpoints concurrently, I occassionally get errors. This may be driver/software/firmware related but I want to rule out that it is the hardware.

Thanks,

Sodalfarl

Hi Anand,

re http://www.cypress.com/?docID=28265 Do you know if this is this the only issue Cypress have come across with FX3 engineering samples?.

Thanks,

Sodafarl

Hi sodalfarl,

If we find any new errata items we update our errata. So yes, this is the only errata we're aware of on the ES silicon.

Anand

My bad. The revision on the site is Rev ** of the document and is for the Rev A silicon. It has gone through 2 more revisions Rev *B is the latest.

Please create a tech support case (MyAccount -> MyCases) to get a copy of the same.

Regards,

Anand

Forgot to mention. SPI boot is a feature addition.

In the document history you can see that it was added in Rev *H of the datasheet so it won't figure in the errata.

Anand
