Hi

I have read the topic“ BIOS and Firmware for EZ-Host chip” in the kownledge base article, and I have some qustions for it.

I want to achieve the communication between 67300 and FPGA through HPI , and read the data from u-disk which is inserted in 67300 usb port, then send the data to FPGA though 67300. You said that the method 1 eliminates the need of having USB stack (TD_list,urb,mass storage class or any class request info,File operation/FAT32 for mass storage etc) in EZ-Host. Is it that to say the msc firmware which finished the communication between 67300 and u-disk is not requested? If it is, so I have no idea about how can 67300 read data from u-disk in the conjunction stand-alone and co-processor mode?

In stand-alone mode the FAT file system and other code resides in EZ-Host.

In the case of co-processor mode the FAT file system and code resides in the processor. So the processor sends LCP gets the task done through BIOS support after that reads the corresponding data/status. And manages the FAT file system, stack etc based on that.

Anand
