FX2_USB.inf and FX2_USB.sys drivers problem

Hello,

I just bought a Xylo em fpga board and cannot find the drivers for it .. the drivers files are supposed to be the following:

FX2_USB.inf

FX2_USB.sys

I also need a file named FPGAconf.exe to configure my fpga but so far was unable to find any.

Can anyone help me here?

It is not a design from cypress so I'm not sure how much help you'll get here. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the design?

Yes. I forgot to mention that it uses a Cypress USB-2 chip.

The drivers I mentioned are for the Cypress USB-2.

Would appreciate if you know anything about it.

I've not heard of the .exe that you're referring to

Even if FX2_USB.sys is just renamed CyUSB.sys if a custom GUID was used then you won't be able to communicate with the host unless the specific DriverGUID is used.

CyUSB.sys available through SuiteUSB is used by quite a lot of 3rd party vendors who use our USB chips. There are few who develop their own driver as well.

You can experiment renaming CyUSB.sys and modifying the inf file accordingly but I wouldn't recommend it.
