Sunlei,

I am attaching zeroEEPROM.rar.Download  zero_scan.bin to EEPROM and it should erase previous EEPROM content.

Follow the step-by-step procedure explained in page 8 of App note AN70973 - http://www.cypress.com/?docID=30345

You can skip couple of steps explained to generate a scanwrapped image since it already exists in the attachment.

Also what is the Corrupt image you have downloaded ? There can be 2 sets of firmware binaries

1. Raw firmware binary after typing following commands on Bash shell prompt

          >make  clean

          >make

2. Scanwrapped firmware image ->After raw binary generation using a utility scanwrap.exe you can add headers to Raw binary.Following is the command on bash terminal

          >scanwrap scan_xx.bin xx.bin  start_addr

This is the file format you need to download to EEPROM otherwise BIOS cannot recognise a raw firmware in EEPROM and it will be a corrupt image.Even then BIOS should recover from this invalid EEPROM image and enumerate with VID/PID 0x4b4/7200 when you connect a USB cable from  PC to peripheral ports on SIE1 or SIE2.
