TPP 200 / 300 Devices under Windows 7 (Driver issues, device cannot start)

Hi all,

I have no idea if there's any way to get this resolved, or if Cypress can escalate this up to Microsoft.

I am NOT an electronics person, but an end user of a USB 2.0 device manufactured by a company that no longer exists, which is a TPP 200 / 300 based device.

When installing the device under Windows 7, on FIRST installation the device appears to function correctly.

On reboot, it is no longer working and windows does not see the device. On inspection, under 'Device Manager' this device appears in device manager with an error (Code 10: Device Cannot Start).

If you 'Uninstall Driver', Windows 7 refreshes the device automatically and it successfully operates until the next boot!

Can anything be done about this?

Thanks.
