Cypress's TrueTouch™ touchscreen solution is based on the PSoC® programmable system-on-chip architecture. The TrueTouch offerings include the first single-chip touchscreen solution that can interpret multiple inputs from all areas of the screen simultaneously. This capability, known as "multi-touch all-point," enables designers to create new usage models for products such as mobile handsets, portable media players (PMPs), GPS systems and other products. No other single-chip solution on the market can interpret more than two inputs at once.

In addition to the multi-touch, all-point products, the TrueTouch family includes devices that perform traditional touchscreen functions including interpreting single touches, and gestures such as tap, double-tap, pan, pinch, scroll, and rotate. The combined touchscreen portfolio is the industry's broadest.
